Additional Information: Fluent in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. In the process of learning Greek and Russian. Planning on majoring in linguistics in college. I'll have to buckle down and and really make sure I'm on the same level as native speakers though, since the conversations I'll be used for will likely be in politics, with lots of really fancy obscure words.

Actually, it wasn't as hard as you'd think. French was spoken around the house just as much as English, so I grew up bi-lingual, and Spanish was taught in school. I speak a little Russian because my Dad spoke Russian, and I took up Japanese and Chinese due to my interests in East Asian culture.

There's a very interesting battle during Japan's Era of Warring States period called the Battle of Okezahama, where the Daimyo Oda Nobunga defeated Imagawa Yoshimoto's force of 40,000 with only 3,000 men by making a fake army out of straw to divert Yoshimoto's troops, and then attacking from behind and killing Yoshimoto himself in a surprise attack.

Didn't they also have these?
