Think about the logistics of an Antarctic nation though. You're likely to all simply die if you try that.

Main problem is food - little and less grows. Fishing in good and well but not enough to live on. This is why when I first bought it up we were talking about man-made islands (or large boats) which we could live and grow food on. The Antarctic clay is just for nation status. |

I would highly suggest take a part of Canada and declare sovereignty, their military is a joke compared to US.
The main problem here is getting people from different parts of the world together to get this moving.

I'm against accepting any religious belief on this.
If anything, Jews and Muslims are the top two we want to avoid, but I'd rather go for an official agnostic position.
If we are here to create a state/colony/island based on rationalism and knowledge, agnosticism is the logical answer.
Simply put : we do not have the means to know whether or not God exist, this question can't be adressed, at least not until our specy explore space or somehow "control" death. And it will certainly be a while until we know for sure, if we ever do.
Religious stands are a waste of time.

So what you're saying is we can't have a society based on worshiping Adolf Hitler or the God Emperor of Mankind? because those are the only 2 options for a 'state' religion in my opinion otherwise just ban judaism/islam and have the only acceptable religious practices as christian based or agnostic based religions.

I'm stating my opinion, and yes that would include those two cults. They lead to delusion and waste our time and efforts on false trails.
You could argue that worshiping some theoretical superior being is a WY to motivate people on the long term, but this worship, as far as we know, could very well be based on a lie. We should worship our project of society instead, not some mystical figure.

It wont be a problem until much later when after a few years, he rules will get more and more lenient, our society will become degenerate and the very thing we are trying to escape. To be successful, this needs to be STRICT and without risk of compromise.

I agree with redsage - no non-whites. Doesn't matter if they're these theoretically, 'good people,' when the fact of the matter is that they're still not white or ideal.
