Foam core. Cannot sink unless you want it too. Well damn Yup. The same construction method is used for concrete floating docks and bridges.

Oh right I never really thought about the part of a confined space full of gas fumes and it's helpful I just have never designed a ship before so I'd trust someone else to it and I'll read it all it's always good to learn something. Yes it is. Anyhow I'm going to calculate out how much imaterials will cost to build a 250' submarine yacht hull. I have a few ideas as to construction methods and such. Using recycled styrofoam and plastic, etc we'd end up with a cheap, efficient and permanent, i.e. unsinkable, mobile floating structure. You probably want individual "studio apartment" type cabins with hot and cold running water etc... "You probably want individual "studio apartment" type cabins with hot and cold running water etc..." I live 20 miles from town right now, No running water, No water heater, Only wood heating. So it'd be nice but not required.

Basic things such as hot and cold running water and sewage treatment systems are easy to do on a large vessel. We're talking about a thing the size of a football field here.

You think the scent of CLP, ass, balls, MRE cheese and diesel fuel will turn the educated ones away?

Are we still discussing submarines here? Why do we even need one?

Yeah we started posting off-topic in the thread and joking around. My mistake assuming you didn't actually read it.
