Prepper to an extreme, would volunteer to be military in this type of community if i believe in the purpose/constitution didn't join US military because I didn't believe in the purpose/constitution in modern times

Not much actually
I studied accountability, finance but was terrible at it. Had a semester in hr management. Was fond of geopolitics.
No hard science knowledge whatsoever unfortunately, but very enthusiastic about political experimentation.

Hello all. I have basic farming skills - I also own hundreds of pigeons. If we do establish a home we can use the birds for food, eggs, down feathers for clothing - whatever. God speed.

This is a thread where people can tell us about their (usefull) skills for the colony. I'll start: - Can make alcohol like wine and moonshine. - I have some farming experience. - Greenhouse experience in growing vegetables and weed (have greenhouse at home). Let us know. - I have quiet a bit of knowledge on Military tactics and action - Communication Technology (radio towers, ground lines, internet, etc) - can effectively organize large amounts of people Pretty much it. |

-In college to be a history teacher (I knew it was not going to be a wealthy career going in but it's a passion of mine)
-Growing knowledge of history and science
-Massive interest in politics, both domestic and foreign relations
-Some experience in local politics (speaking in city council sessions, observing various state and county functions).
-Some experience in entrepreneurial endeavors (taken several classes, ran a successful business for two years, working on plans for a new one I'm excited about)
-Some experience in agriculture
-Some experience in woodworking
-Not really a skill but I have a friend who would be very interested in this project who is an engineer

I am an industrial electrician as was my father and his farther both of them have made changes to the NEC so my primary skill set is in electrical. I do have experience in welding and security as well.
-Hunting
-Cyber security
-Recon
-Leadership
-Medical
All of the above besides electrical, welding, leadership and security are rarely used skills currently but would be useful until we have properly trained personnel.

A very valuable trade to be in especially useful while setting any thing up I hope to be able to help lead the project in bring power to the island as I have experience on 115kV systems alll the way down to 1.8V logic systems. I haven't looked into the island much yet but solar will likely be our main source of power but we can't run it at 12V and be anywhere near efficient for our needs. |
