What about psychedelics ? Weed is a psychedelic isn't it? I'm not sure how I feel on LSD and MDMA. Depends on what others want. |

Our island won't be useful for producing drugs other than weed which we should focus on trading for useful items. My personal stance on it is all drugs should be banned from use unless they serve to enhance your work until you are off work then they should be kept in private failing to do so should result in removal from the island if you do it more than twice.

If one wants to establish a micronation anywhere on this globe, and given the fact that our landmass is not by any means large, one may needs to label anything that need to be planted as 'useful' and 'useless'. I may agree that weed would provide some benefits to the colony, while not being a threat to our very survival. Hard drugs, including psychadelics and anything just slightly addictive drugs, are a threat to not only the user by to everyone else around them. For this matter I'd nay any proposition on legalizing all drugs on the island.

Weed could prove to be our cash crop if moved and sold in legal states such as Canada and the US. I suppose we could sell it to anyone that comes and wants some. We would have no standing law against this so not our fault where they take it. See Colorado as an example. People go to buy and then leave making a fine profit for both private and state.

The only country I could find that export Cannabis is Columbia. They currently export to Canada and the United States. The growing facilities are approved by Canadian and US Government officials and are monitored to ensure that no illicit sales are made.
Exporting pot to the Western World would mean constant surveillance by the States you are exporting to, and you would have to out compete Columbia, one of the largest cannabis growers and exporters in the world.
Growing Cannabis for local use would be the way to go. Make it a gimmicky thing like what Holland has/had with the Dutch Cafes. Make a tourist attraction out of it and scalp the DUDE WEED's for their monies
