Using various websites I found out that the average man while doing heavy work would need 2600 to 2800 calories to maintain their weight which is around 3 16oz steaks per person per day we would also need some water around 2 litres a day any thoughts on how you could get this for around 20 people day in day out.

Sea Turtle tastes just like roast beef...I know from experience. Whales have a lot more meat though. I guess I'm going to need a bigger spear gun if I've got to feed 20 people. Anybody got a recipe for dolphin hot pockets?

Buy a fuckton of MRES for the first few months, keep them well maintained because that will be our major food supply for the first few weeks. Then by the end of the frist few weeks we start to focus on growing our own food, and then slowly we move off MRES

I'd rather die than be forced to survive off MRE's again. Sorry but I'll take a ton of beans and rice and a fishing pole.

There are better alternatives. If you're wanting to subsist on MRE's than make sure you bring ten gallons of cheap hot sauce, it's the only way to make them edible.

Guys, the initial journey should be about ten days tops, for five people.
Pot Noodles are my favourite.

Well they aren't that bad but see in a regular cruising boat you can store a ton of canned and dry goods, plus you have a regular kitchen so you can bake bread or make pizza whatever. MRE's are actually quite expensive. I'd keep some for emergencies, or like when I go out fishing I'll bring a couple just because they are convenient and have lots of things you need.
